Rebecca King-CrewAmerican actor Thomas William Selleck. His first big role was private detective Thomas Magnum in the television series Magnum, P.I. (1980-1988) and for which he was awarded five Emmy Award nominations for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series, winning in 1985. In the television series Blue Bloods, Selleck has appeared as Frank Reagan, New York City Police Commissioner. Since 2005, he has played the character of Jesse Stone, a troubled police chief in a small-town New York City. In addition, he has been in nine TV movies which are based on Robert B. Parker novels. Selleck has also been featured in movies as Peter Mitchell, a bachelor architect in Three Men and a Baby (1987) as well as Three Men and a Little Lady (90). He has also appeared in more than 50 different films and TV parts since Magnum, P.I., including the films Quigley Down Under, Mr. Lassiter and baseball. He played the regular television role of Monica Geller's love-interests Dr. Richard Burke and Lance White on Friends. In addition he played A.J. Cooper on Las Vegas.
