Rodarius Marcell green[2] was born August 27, 1998. He is also known as Rod Wave and a singer. The artist is known for his strong voice and the blending of R&B and hip-hop,and has been acknowledged as a pioneer in soul-trap.Wave rose to fame by releasing the hit song of the year "Heart on Ice", which went viral through YouTube as well as TikTok and hit number 25 on the Billboard Hot 100. The debut album of Wave, Ghetto Gospel (2019) was a top 10 album on the US Billboard 200. The album that followed Pray 4 Love (2020), peaked at number 2 on the Billboard 100, and featured the hit song "Rags2Riches", which was a top 12 hit on the Hot 100. The third album SoulFly (2021) debuted at number one on the Billboard 200, marking his first chart-topping single. The Wave's career got underway in 2016 when he released his mixtape Hunger Games Vol. 1. He released mixtapes in the independent market prior to joining Alamo Records. He released his mixtape PTSD on June 14, 2019, which featured the song "Heart on Ice". The track went viral success via YouTube as well as TikTok. It was ranked 25 on Billboard's Hot 100. Wave was named to XXL’s 2020 Freshman Class on August 11, 2020. In July of 2020, Wave revealed during an interview that He was working on his third album, which was originally scheduled for August 27 and 28, 2020. The singer revealed the track list for the album SoulFly on March 6 2021. The album also contained songs "Street Runner" and "Tombstone" and "Tombstone," which was his highest-charting single with a peak at number 11 on the Hot 100.
